The first time wasn’t to bad and we failed to comprehend how traumatized she was by that experience.

Then when the time came for the second operation. I can still remember her screaming as they prepped her for surgery. It traumatized both of us.

I admire the medical and emergency professionals who have the fortitude to face these situations every day and the endurance to get the job done.
