Celebrating 9 years of pure awesome

I turn 26 today. That’s 9 years of making web comics. Wow! And now, finally, I have a place where I can post them sequentially, as they were intended to be read.

Over the following weeks, I’ll continue posting more comics until I’ve transferred the entire archive. Each comic will be shown in its full-page form, not cut into pieces like they were on gURL.com. All will be presented with commentary by yours truly. You can expect to see some comics that have been missing for a long time, like 15 Revolutions.

Please be patient. There are so many comics to transfer and comment on! But you can expect to find new postings every day! And after the archives are transferred, I can start posting all new comics.

I’m sorry it took so long to get this up. I know a lot of people were waiting for me to get my act together. Honestly, if I hadn’t resigned from my position as web designer and taken two weeks off before starting the next big thing, I would still be struggling to get this site out the door. The hard part isn’t making comics. It’s making the thing that showcases your comics.

I started building this site a year ago. Work, surgery, life in general, it all kept getting in the way. Once I got the functionality built in, I said to myself, “If you don’t finish the design by your birthday, we’ll launch without any design at all!” That’s why a few things are still rough around the edges. It was more important to get this site up and the comics out than it was that my precious design and implementation be perfect. So expect some small changes over the next six months.

If you notice anything amiss or are confused or have comments in general, please tell me! Now…

Go read some comics!
