Crow Princess, Cover

This was my second graphic novel after self-publishing 18 Revolutions two years earlier.

My mom told me that “the second is always the hardest. Get it out of the way so you can move on to the third and the fourth!” Well, there hasn’t been a third or a fourth. I haven’t self-published a graphic novel since, mostly because the margins are too low. It costs a lot to print, a lot to ship, and it takes a lot of time to track orders, contact retailers, and collect payments, and I don’t enjoy any of that. I enjoy making comics.

I was thinking I’d like to publish this for eReaders, since it is my best effort. What do you think? Would you buy this for your Kindle or iPad even though it’s free here?

  • Jacki

Yes, I would gladly buy this for my Kindle and encourage others to do the same. :-)

How much would you want to pay for a 48 page comic like this? And what kind of Kindle do you have?

  • sewthernbelle

I think you’d be smart to offer this on e-reader, at least to introduce a new generation to your work. And maybe give a discount to your already loyal fans…;)

I think releasing to ereaders is a great idea! It would be a great way to reach a large audience. I definitely would grab it.

What kind of eReader do you have, Dylan?

  • Kirsten R

I still have the copy of this I ordered online years ago.

Thank you for ordering a copy, Kirsten! I only have on copy left, for myself.
