You can see me moving to a “bare minimum comic so I can knock a few out before I hit the convention circuit” form here. gURL.com needed me to supply a minimum number of panels each week to keep their pageviews high and bring in advertising revenues. The “Things That Rub Me the Wrong Way” comics I made were two pages that provided six panels/pageviews (as opposed to my usual format which only pumped out 3 pageviews per print-able page). The stories were lighter, though.
